The CFES Brilliant Pathways Board of Trustees has added two new members with a wealth of business experience in all aspects of the energy and language translation sectors.

Paul C. Parshley, Managing Director of Investor Relations at Energy Capital Partners, helps lead the private equity firm’s fundraising, marketing, public relations and investor relations activities. Since joining ECP in 2006, he has played a key role in raising over $20 billion from more than 600 global partners since.

A respected veteran of the energy industry, Parshley served as Director of Corporate Planning and Communications for International Power Company PLC, a global power company based in the UK, where he was responsible for strategic planning and investor and media relations. Prior to that, he served as Senior Advisor and Director of North American Power and the Global Power Forum at Cambridge Energy Research Associates. He also spent 14 years as Senior Vice President and Senior Power Industry Analyst at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and seven years on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment.

Parshley received a B.A. from Colgate University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Regional Planning from Harvard University.

Jin Lee, Senior Vice President of Global Production at TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately-owned language services provider, manages the translation, interpretation, and desktop publishing, Trial Interactive Services and Legal Staffing divisions of the company.

Based in New York, Lee oversees the selection, training, productivity, and evaluation of over 1,100 employees worldwide. Lee began his career as a Project Manager at TransPerfect in 2003. Known for his hands-on approach and ability to select large, geographically dispersed teams to work together on projects that must meet compliance and quality standards, he was promoted to Director of the Life Sciences and Legal Translation Divisions shortly after. Lee holds a B.A. in economics from Middlebury College.

Both Parhsley and Lee have committed their time and resources to help CFES send over 100,000 students nationwide to college or into a career. “We are extremely fortunate to have two people with this much experience and dedication to our mission join our board,” said CFES President Rick Dalton. “We know they will help take CFES to the next level by helping even more underserved students realize their postsecondary dreams.”

J. Bart Morrison, Senior Advisor to the President and Associate Professor of Management, Assumption College, was named Chairman of the CFES Board of Trustees in 2020.
