CFES has helped me become outgoing and confident in social situations
Mollie is a junior at Crown Point Central School in Crown Point, NY where she serves on the CFES Student Leadership council.
CFES has helped me become outgoing and confident in social situations. Before I was a part of CFES, I was always nervous to talk to people and scared to lead projects, but recently I’ve been able to lead projects at my school and talk in front of crowds. I’ve always been a shy person, but CFES has given me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone: I went to College Explore in Vermont, I went to the National Conference last year, and I’ve planned events on the Leadership Council. The more I practice leaving my comfort zone, the more comfortable I became in new situations and environments. I am excited to continue building self-confidence with CFES, especially as I prepare to go to college.
