In many ways, Dr. Ryan McDevitt has spent most of his adult life working toward launching Benchmark Space Systems — the satellite propulsion company he co-founded in 2017 and serves as CEO. As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Vermont, Ryan worked on a NASA-funded program to develop micropropulsion technologies that went on to become the basis for Benchmark’s first products.
