Agility has been important to my career, starting from my first year in college. I initially enrolled in an engineering program because I loved math – it came easily to me. But after just one semester, I realized engineering wasn’t a good fit. I got some input from my boss at the time, and he helped me think about what I genuinely enjoyed doing.

I ended up taking a semester off and transferring schools to earn an accounting degree … and I haven’t looked back since! When your gut says something feels off, give yourself time to pause and take an inventory. The perspective will help you adjust your game plan and reach new levels of success.
